Museme ("we", "us") is operated by CEDARLIGHT LABS LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company in the United States. These terms apply when you use museme.ai, place an order or buy a gift card. By doing so you agree to them. How we handle personal data, including your child's photo, is explained separately in our Privacy Policy.
Effective date: 6 November 2026
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract where you live.
- You may upload a child's photo only if you are the child's parent or guardian, or have their permission. We ask you to confirm this before any photo is uploaded.
- A Museme art book is a printed book of twelve paintings of your child in the styles of well-known painters, made from the photo you upload.
- The paintings are created with automated image-generation tools and then checked by us. Each one is an artistic interpretation: likeness, expression and details vary from painting to painting, and printed colors can look different from your screen. That is why you approve every page before anything prints (see below).
- The painting styles are inspired by historical artists. Museme is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any artist, their estate or any museum.
- Prices are in US dollars and are shown before you pay, together with any shipping charge for the destination you choose. Where sales tax applies it is shown at checkout.
- Import duties or taxes charged by the destination country, if any, are the recipient's responsibility unless checkout says otherwise.
- Payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Your order is accepted when payment succeeds and we email a confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order — for example if a photo breaks these terms or we cannot ship to the address — and if we do, we refund you in full.
- Proofs. We email all twelve pages to you, usually within 24 hours of your order.
- Your review. Take as long as you need. You can ask for revisions until the pages are right.
- Approval. When you press approve, the twelve pages print exactly as they are, and no further edits are possible.
- Shipping. We print at the print center nearest the destination and email tracking when the book ships. Delivery times shown on the site are estimates, not guarantees.
- Before you approve the proofs: cancel at any time for a full refund, no reason required.
- After the book arrives: if you are unhappy with the finished book, tell us within 30 days of delivery and we remake it free or refund you in full. You do not need to send the book back. Write to support@museme.ai with your order number and tell us what is wrong.
- Lost or damaged in transit: if your book does not arrive or arrives damaged, write to us. We will work with the carrier and, if it is lost or damaged, reprint it or refund you.
- Refunds go back to the original payment method. Your bank may take a few business days to show them.
- No expiry, no fees. Museme gift cards you buy never expire and carry no fees of any kind.
- Refunds. A gift card can be refunded in full to the original payment method at any time before it is redeemed. Email support@museme.ai with the receipt or the last four characters of the code. Once redeemed, the order follows the cancellation rules above.
- What a card covers. Each card is redeemed for one order of the number of copies it was bought for (one, two or three copies of the same book), at the price in effect when it is redeemed. The recipient can add copies at checkout and pay only the difference.
- Cancelling a redeemed order. If an order placed with a gift card is cancelled before the proofs are approved, the card goes back to unused and can be redeemed again; anything paid on top of the card is refunded.
- Promotional cards. Cards we give away for free (for example to creators or as a goodwill gesture) may carry an expiry date, which is printed on the card.
- Not cash. Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash or credit, except where the law requires it.
- Lost codes. Anyone with the code can redeem the card, so please keep it safe. If a code is lost, write to support@museme.ai from the purchase email and we will help.
- Your photos stay yours. By uploading a photo you give us permission to use it only to make, check, print and deliver your book and to provide the service to you, as described in the Privacy Policy.
- What you confirm. You have the right to upload the photo, and uploading it does not break anyone else's rights or any law.
- Your book. You may keep, share and show the book and its pages for personal, non-commercial purposes. Please don't resell them or use them commercially without asking us first.
- Our site. The website, software, page layouts, text and brand belong to us or our licensors.
- Upload photos of a child you have no authority to upload, or photos that are unlawful, sexual, violent or hateful.
- Use the service to harass, impersonate or harm anyone.
- Copy, scrape or try to break the site, or get around its security.
We may refuse or cancel an order, or block access, if these rules are broken. Where we cancel a paid order for this reason, we refund it.
- We will make your book with reasonable care and skill, and the promises in "Cancellations and Refunds" apply on top of any rights you have under law.
- To the extent the law allows, the service is otherwise provided "as is", and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or takes away rights you have as a consumer where you live.
- If something goes wrong, please email support@museme.ai first. Most problems are fixed quickly, and we will reply within 30 days.
- These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA. Disputes that cannot be settled informally go to the state or federal courts located in Wyoming.
- If you are a consumer living outside the United States, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country and may also bring a claim in the courts where you live, where your local law allows it.
We may update these terms. The version in effect when you place an order applies to that order. The "Effective date" at the top always shows the latest version.
